Research Assistants:

Kitty, "The Mysterious Lady" from Texas, does an unbelievable job of research by finding personnel all over the country. She is a  young 73-year-old wife of Bob, mother of Mike (50) and Richard (46), mother-in-law to Cindee and Emi, grandmother of 5, retired school teacher, and volunteer locator of veterans.  She started working on the Internet in 1995 doing research for various groups after being encouraged by her husband, an Air Force pilot, computer science professor at the USAF Academy, and analyst for IBM for 25 years. But that was just the start and she is still going strong helping military units locate people for reunions or just friends looking for old friends.  But to me, just a true friend I enjoy watching work, knowing and seeing that special feeling she brings to so many people and her love for the work.

Danny Shaw, another good friend who has made every trip to the Archives with me and has made many trips around the country to visit and interview people.

(LT) Michael Herber who served with the 1st Battalion 20th Infantry (68-69) and has helped with many of my projects and  trips to the archives.  He has also taken-on projects to aid and help in putting-together the Sykesí Regular History.
